Our fun, child centred two year pre-school programme is an exciting way for young learners to enter the world of English. Through songs, actions, puppets and interactive activities on our smart board, children are introduced to sounds, letters and simple words in English. This motivating programme is the perfect start to a lifelong love of learning!
Using the ‘phonics’ method students learn the sounds of the English language and corresponding letters of the alphabet. After one year children can recognize sounds and words in English and write letters and some simple words. By the end of the second year, students can communicate using simple words and have begun writing simple sentences. This early foundation of literacy provides the ideal building block before starting English at school.
Though all our teachers know the languages spoken in Bosnia-Herzegovina, lessons are delivered using English language immersion – where BH languages are used only when necessary. Watch with amazement as your child begins to communicate with their teacher in English!
We welcome learners from 4.5 years old – Grade 1 at school.
Children must complete Level 1 before progressing to Level 2.
